The best way to lose weight is to follow a five-piece regiment – plenty of vitamins, lean sources of proteins, plenty of water, regular exercises and having the right frame of mind. The points mentioned here look simple, but they are based on important principles. If you follow the five step procedure seriously for few weeks, you can start noticing awesome differences.
Foods rich in vitamins such as fruits and vegetables contain a lot of fiber. The fiber has several important benefits as mentioned below:
Fiber slows down the digestive process thus making you feel fuller for longer. The longer you feel full the less food you will take in a day.
Fiber acts as natural ‘sweeper’ of the digestive system, thus, it cleanses the intestines and helps in improving the rate of absorption which means that you do not need to eat plenty of food to acquire sufficient nutrients.
Fiber acts as fats absorption inhibitor. In the ‘sweeping’ process – like a broom, fiber traps excess fats from the food you eat and when it gets excreted it goes out with this fat thus minimizing the fat that would go into your body system
Fiber stimulates the ‘feel thirsty’ effect thus making you drink a lot of water which also acts to aid in the ‘sweeping’ process while contributing to making you feel fuller and helping in fast weight loss.
Vitamins also contain essential ingredients that aid in the metabolic breakdown of stored fats in the body into useful energy thus making you lose more weight naturally.
You need protein to supplement vitamin for your good health. To avoid excessive intake of fats, take lean sources of proteins such as liver, skinless poultry, small fish, skimmed milk and leguminous grains such as beans and peas. Proteins can also aid in muscle development. This does not mean that only men should consume it. Even women can do so, provided that they consume it in moderate quantities.
Finally you need to exercise regularly in addition to having a good frame of mind that is stress free. Exercises can be as simple as a 30 minute refreshing walk every day early in the morning. You can even try out aerobic exercises and weight lifting or stair climbing.
Finally you need to have a positive frame of mind. You should avoid stress as it can lead to binge eating and ultimately to weight gain. You need to socialize with people and do some relaxation exercises to prevent depression, boredom and anxiety. All these emotions are known to lead people to indulge in binge eating.
