Here I sit, waiting my turn to exit our local grocery store parking lot among the masses of people. As I wait I can’t help as my attention is drawn to how many people there are that have problems with their weight. I am not trying to point fun at any of them. I have been in their shoes and know how hard it is to find a reasonable solution to the problem. Everyone has a different reason for where they are and it is most often times it is understandable. I was fortunate to have a friend turn me onto the HCG diet. It was a life saver for me. I was finally able to drop over 50 pounds which in the past would have seemed like an insermountable task. This is the same friend who also encouraged me to sell the product to so many of the people that we come in contact with that are dying to find out how we were able to drop the weight and keep it off. I took her up on her advice. I went on a search for reputable HCG wholesale suppliers and hit the ground running. Well, let’s stop talking about me and let’s talk about what it happening with the obesity epidemic that is happening in our country.

According to the CDC, overweight and obesity are both labels for ranges of weight that are greater than what is generally considered healthy for a given height. The terms also identify ranges of weight that have been shown to increase the likelihood of certain diseases and other health problems.

For an adult, the range for obesity is found by calculating the weight and the height of the individual to come up with what is called “body mass index” or BMI. The CDC uses this to determine if a person is obese or overweight as it shows exactly what their body fat would be. For a healthy adult the normal BMI range is under 25. If the person has a BMI higher than 25 then they are considered to be overweight or obese.

The CDC recently reported that one in every three adults have crossed the threshold into obesity. As of 2010 there were already twelve stated that have an obesity rate of over 30% which included their entire population base. In 2000, there wasn’t even one state in our country that had an obesity rate over 20%. Now there isn’t even one state that does not have an obesity rate under 20%.

It is becoming very well known the effects that obesity can have on your health. It has been linked to heart disease, diabetes and cancer. This leads us to another issue which is the skyrocketing costs of health care in this country. I’m sure most of you have recognized that every year our premiums go up and our coverages slowly go down. Obesity has a direct link to our insurance and health care costs.

i guess the question is, what are we going to do about it? I decided to make a difference in the best way that I knew how. I went out and really started to tell my story about how I made a change for the better in my life. People have been so encouraged that they want to know everything that I have done to achieve these results. I have been able to help fight the war against obesity one person at a time and along the way create a very nice second income for myself and my family. If you want to pursue this venture, make sure you seek out a very reliable HCG wholesale suppliers and then hit the ground running. Best of luck to any of you that decide to make this journey towards a healthier and fuller life.
