What does it mean to talk about the importance of an acid alkaline? First of all, it’s important to comprehend that your pH influences every cell in your body. This condition is produced by a diet that contains too many acid-forming foods and beverages, and not enough alkaline-forming ones.
The harmful effects of low-grade acidosis take two forms. Some of the harm happens as a result of your body’s efforts to neutralize excess acid. If your body did not neutralize acid, you would rapidly become so acidic that you would die. Unfortunately, the act of neutralizing acid uses up alkaline minerals. As these minerals are used up, several harmful effects can occur, including bone loss, elevated levels of parathyroid hormone, muscle wasting, and inflammation.
The second reason that an acid-producing diet harms your health is that it can overwhelm your body’s efforts to neutralize the acid, leading your body to become chronically acidic. This can result in many health issues, including dental and periodontal disease, fatigue, inflammation, and yeast overgrowth.
Now that you have learned the differences between an alkaline and an acidic body, you can see the importance of switching from the typical diet to an acid alkaline diet. Since the cause of acid-alkaline imbalance is a diet that contains too many acid-producing foods and not enough alkalizing ones, the best way to alkalize your body is to adopt the acid alkaline diet.
