Of course going from 20 minutes a day to one hour is a significant increase and if it’s too much continue to increase gradually. If you feel that you’re just not there and trying to walk an hour is too strenuous, scale back that unrealistic goal for the time being. In the end what will be the most rewarding is what keeps you motivated, and if that means you increase your goals moderately to help you get there then so be it.

Now you’re ready to walk for an hour. At this stage the new and improved healthier you should easily be able to tackle such a challenge. When an hour-long walk takes place your heart rate is increased, the circulation of blood flow in your body is enhanced and your blood pressure is lowered, all positive health benefits delivered by simply walking each day.

When this workout routine is finished you will no doubt be a healthier person, costing you absolutely nothing.
