There are a lot of things that you may not know about your body and how it works, but I would really love it if you would understand that too much cholesterol in your bloodstream could actually kill you. You need to begin to lower it if you want to remain alive. That’s it.

Here’s something that you need to know: any sudden increase in your fibrous food intake might actually do you more harm than good. Even though you are in a hurry to lower your blood cholesterol, you do have to ease into the program, not force it upon yourself. A gradual change is usually much better than a sudden one. When you get started, it will obviously become easier. Yes, most diseases cannot be cured by exercise but a lot can be prevented by sensible exercise.

So if I die from a heart attack due to too much cholesterol in my system, the laugh’s going to be on me. You know you don’t want to be a liability on anybody; but that’s just what you are going to be the next time you let yourself get a stroke. It’s the cholesterol; you’ve got to get rid of it. It’s all that sweet junk that you’ve been eating – it’s slowly killing you. You must start eating a more healthy diet. How’s carrots for a try? Think you can hold it down?

Cholesterol is a solid compound in your blood. It is there, whether you like it or not. But you don’t have to settle for the bad parts of it, because it’s got those too. What you can do is to start on a fibrous diet that will help you keep the good parts of it up, and the bad parts down. I know of people who did a sudden u-turn on their diets and ended up with flatulence and diarrhea. Duh! What were they thinking?

You know, there are a lot of diseases that exercise cannot heal, but there are only a few that it cannot prevent. If you maintained a daily or weekly workout routine, you should be able to reduce your body cholesterol to levels where diseases that could have stemmed otherwise are kept at bay. You are unlikely to be very successful in removing some of your cholesterol with out eating fruit and vegetable. All you’d be achieving was self-starvation. Now I don’t think you want to be telling a story like that. So, why don’t you go grocery shopping and buy a few of those roughages?
